WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Manage multi-line telephones, answering the caller’s questions or directing the caller to the appropriate party;
File documents in accordance with established filing systems in a timely manner.
Handle requests for records as appropriate; i.e., copying of medical records for insurance companies and attorneys.
Maintain appropriate stock levels of supplies; order supplies as necessary.
Work assigned work queues within the patient accounting system(s).
Document activity in an accurate and timely manner in the patient accounting system.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal billing regulations. Report any suspected compliance issues to management.
Review and process all attorney letters and subpoena requests.
Process incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail from the respective departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required High School Diploma / GED
1 year Computer experience Preferred
